Purpose: To learn from reading and discussing autobiographies.
Why: Apply to our lives, to help us grow and understand ourselves, other people and the world.
Format:
- read the book (a different person reads a different book)
- report on the book (5 - 15 minutes)
- author's life hardships, how they impacted him and lessons he took away (if any)
- what you got from the book and how you / others could apply those lessons
- discussion / Q & A (5 to 15 minutes)
- there can be multiple reviews per meeting
- we will break after 90 minutes to 120 minutes (1.5 to 2.0 hours)
- you can read and report back on whatever book you read
- you don't need to tell us what you are reading
- Here is a link to book club etiquette, so you can be prepared to ask questions
- One person provides a review once per quarter (minimum)
- Meet every 2 weeks
